Just plain fun shopping

There are several shops that will be selling Saturday July 11 at the OM Baby show who are just plain fun. They have wonderful creative , handmade products for many aspects of your life.

If you like decorations, be sure to check the creations from Pinkbuttercreme. Tami enjoys creating in a various media and you will find many charming items at her booth.
Be sure to visit the booth of one of our organizers, Beachchik. Kim has created not only really adorable clothing for little ones, but wonderful accents for your home.
While I'm mentioning organizers, Yin will have an assortment of her delicious popcorn and teas as well as some of her other fun creations. You can visit her shops for a preview whatseatingyin and yinvivo weddings and photography. My friend loved the curried popcorn!

Plenty of Images at OM Baby

If you love photographic art, you will have plenty of items to please your eye at the OM Baby craft show on July 11th in Pt. Pleasant, New Jersey. Of course each artist has a unique style and point of view, so there is a of variety of images from which to choose
BriefMoments has wonderful images ready for framing and as affordable, beautiful jewelry. You will find music, vintage and inspirational themes. Of course, there are some nature photographs as well. Since the show is at the Jersey Shore, I'm sharing this from the shop of Maribeth Corona-Evans.






Heart of Nature features beautiful color images by Kitty Wilkin. She has prints ready for framing as well as numerous cards available. Here's just one sample of her unique vision.

Reclaim, Repurpose Creative!

Two of the shops participating in the OM Baby show specialize in reclaiming and repurposing items, creating unique one of a kind objects quite different from the original materials.

Kecia says of her shops:
Lemoncholy's Studio (keeshagirl4.etsy.com and lemoncholys.com) practices the 4 R's: recycle, reclaim, reinvent and then re imagined. i am a mixed media and jewelry artist and i like to take vintage castaway items and turn them into modern, exciting edgy pieces. All my jewelry pieces are one of a kind, never to be duplicated using such items as a vintage sterling silver teething ring to an old German porcelain doll. You'll see lots of texture and opposing elements such as rust and rhinestones. I feel my pieces all have a story to tell with their humble history.
Claire Baker has a wide variety of products in her shops. She is eco-friendly in her repurposed products- from cardboard wallets to plarn totes, as well are beautiful sewn market bags. You can see her creations at Copabanas on Etsy and at 1000 Markets

Save the date! Saturday July 11th is the second OM Baby Etsy NJ craft fair in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. The will be lots of great handmade items, both indoors and out. Plan a day out and enjoy the shore and some shopping.

Treasures of New Jersey

A few weeks ago, I finally was able to visit the NJ Maritime History Museum.
I bet you are wondering what connection the Museum has to cool gifts.... it's very simple! The museum itself is a treasure, and a gift to anyone who makes the time to visit. But in addition- the gift shop is almost exclusively handmade in New Jersey products!
I hope that if you are visiting the Jersey shore , you will make some time to visit and of course take home some treasures hand made here in the Garden State!
